Baxters Loch Ness Marathon - Saturday 3 October 2010
Recognised as one of the UK's leading marathons, the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon runs through some stunning Highland scenery and you may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Nessie!
If you would like to run for the MS Society Scotland in 2010 let us by know email or by phone on 0131 335 4050 and we will send you out an application pack. Once you have registered we will provide you with a sponsor pack with everything you need to start fundraising as well as lots of encouragement!

2009 was the year of the largest Loch Ness marathon ever! With more competitors taking part from across the Globe than ever before it was a fantastic Festival of Running. Vanessa and Katy from the Fundraising Team were delighted to meet so many of the Society’s runners and their families. There were people of all ages taking part in the 5K, 10K and full marathon and it was great to see so many orange MS Society Scotland vests among the crowds of runners.
Fantastic Fundraisers!
We would particularly like to mention two of our runners, Dave Cutress and Dave Smith. These two fabulous fundraisers built up to running the marathon throughout all of 2009. Their fundraising even extended to dressing up as waitresses at a quiz night! The friends kept pace with each other for the whole marathon and crossed the finish line together with their families cheering them on. To date, the Dave’s have raised over £8,000 with their marathon efforts! Congratulations to you both!
