Holidays & LeisureAre you looking for a holiday that suits your particular needs? Here is some information on holidays for people affected by MS, and some ideas for leisure activities. The MS Society has four holidays centres which cater solely for people with MS and their carers. Leuchie House is the Society's centre in Scotland. Search our UK wide database of respite care providers (link to UK site). The MS Society runs a Preferred Provider scheme, which recognises care homes that are able to demonstrate their ability to provide high quality respite care services to people with MS. So far, four Scottish services have been awarded this status. We have static caravans in Ayr and Nairn, and timber lodges near Dumfries available for let between April and September. All are adapted (as far as possible) for wheelchair use and are located on professionally run sites with facilities for adults and children.
