2008 consultation with membership

04.06.08

We would like to consult you on the planned regional restructuring of the Society.

Download our questionnaire and supporting documents.

About our plans
While the existing structure has served us well in the past, many members have told us that the system needs to change if the needs of people affected by MS are to be met in the future. Late in 2007, the MS Society Scotland's Council made the strategic decision to move towards a regional structure, so that more consistent support can be offered to people affected by MS across Scotland.

After feedback from members, the ambitious strategic direction for the Society has been decided by Council. However, your views and ideas on the details of how we move forward with these exciting new plans are crucial. We have already started listening to people’s views, through two Branch weekends in April (in Glasgow & Aberdeen), but we now need to hear from everyone with an interest in the Society, on how we can best make these changes happen.

If you would like to respond, please complete our questionaire and return it by Monday 15th September 2008 to movingforward@mssocietyscotland.org.uk . Or you can return by post to MS Society Scotland, Ratho Park, 88 Glasgow Road,Ratho Station, Newbridge EH28 8PP.

If you have any further enquiries about the consultation please contact Aileen McLuckie on 0131 335 4062.
