MS Nurses
There are twenty five MS nurses in Scotland.
The first appointment to see an MS Nurse is usually by referral from the neurologist and after this it may either be by self-referral or by the GP.
MS Nurses are pivotal is providing a greater understanding of MS. They adopt a holistic, collaborative and coordinated approach that can help individuals manage their condition.
The MS nurse role also involves acting as a kind of consultant, working with the GPs, other therapists, employers and with MS charities.
